Minesoft Training and Support Available When Working From Home
In these strange and uncertain times when many have been encouraged to work from home, you can still rely on Minesoft for the online training and support you may need. The Minesoft Support team is working hard to make sure that support continues to be readily available to our customers. Below, you will find several online resources that are always available but may be especially helpful in this period of working from home.
Minesoft Knowledge Hub
The Minesoft Knowledge Hub contains PatBase, PatBase Express, PatDocs and IPShare Basics. These Basics sites contain video guides and written descriptions of how to use each platform, as well as answers to Frequently Asked Questions and links to helpful documents.
In the Knowledge Hub, you can also find Guides, Webinars and Tutorials and Reports in other sections of the website. The Support Team is working hard to continuously update and add to these resources during this period to provide helpful and digestible content.
To access the Knowledge Hub, you must be logged into one of the Minesoft products. Contact Minesoft today to set up free trial access for your colleagues who do not yet have their own login!
For PatBase, you’ll find a link to Knowledge Hub in the footer or under the “Help” menu. In PatDocs, there is a link to the Knowledge Hub in the footer. In IPShare, you can access Knowledge Hub from the “Help” menu. In PatBase Express, there is a link to the Knowledge Hub under “More options”.

Getting Started with PatBase
This introductory webinar takes new PatBase users through the basics of using the platform. In this session, you will learn how to use the search forms, sharing and saving records, setting up alerts and how to run a simple analysis on a result set.
PatBase Express: An Introduction
This webinar is ideal for brand new users of PatBase Express. You will learn how to navigate PatBase Express, how to use various search forms, saving and sharing records and conducting a basic analysis on a result set.
This webinar will cover recent changes or updates to existing PatBase functionalities and new tools or features added to the platform.

The Support team is available across time zones to answer your queries. For questions regarding any of Minesoft’s solutions, you can always send inquiries to [email protected] and one of the Support team members will respond. This is the first place to contact if you have any issues signing in to any of our solutions from home.
Within PatBase there is also a helpdesk available under the “Help” menu in the floating toolbar. Here you will find a contact form that sends your query to the Support team. You will receive a response by email.
The Minesoft Library is available through the Minesoft website under Resources, or follow this link: https://minesoft.com/minesoft-library/. The Library is a central location for whitepapers, articles and presentations by Minesoft. There are example case studies, trend and landscape reports that might inspire new ways of using PatBase and presenting your patent data.
